The Scoop
Urth Caffé and Bar sits inside Terminal One at LAX, the Southwest terminal, and it was named airport coffee shop of the year at the 2019 international food and beverage awards. It is the only place to get Urth's matcha without leaving the airport. Winning a global award for airport coffee is a genuinely funny thing to pull off, and we like that the matcha came along for it. The Wazuka Cha here is the same ceremonial grade tea from Akihiro Nakai's Entsu Estate that every other Urth pours, so a Rising Sun Matcha Latté before a flight is the same cup as the one on Melrose. The bar alongside it makes this the one Urth where the matcha has company.
