Stagger Coffee

Stagger Coffee is on West 8th Street in Koreatown and has built its reputation on matcha that goes twice as hard as anyone would expect. The double matcha latte earns the name. High-grade matcha is whisked into the milk and again into the thick vanilla cream sitting on top of it. That second whisking is the whole trick, because the flavor holds all the way down instead of fading under the cream as the drink goes on. Dumbstruck and Yeems are both on the same West 8th stretch, which makes this an easy first stop on a Koreatown route. We would go straight for the double.
