Motoring Coffee

Motoring Coffee opened on West Olympic in March 2023 as the brand's first cafe, in a 20,000 square foot reclaimed bow truss warehouse with an eclectic mix of vehicles parked inside it. It began as a fuel service for The Motoring Club, the private members space you can see into from the counter, and opened to the public alongside members. We could spend a whole morning drinking a Nekohama matcha and looking at somebody's vintage car through the warehouse window. The matcha comes as a 12 ounce tea or a 12 ounce latte, and alternative milk carries no upcharge. Pastries and breakfast sandwiches come from Farmshop, the Westside staple, and the baristas keep specials rotating, so asking is worth it. The room is cashless. Alfred is a few blocks west along Olympic if the plan involves more than one stop.
