Miss Cheese Tea Cafe

The Little Tokyo cafe keeps the longest hours in the group by a distance, open 9am to midnight every day of the week. That makes it the Miss Cheese to remember when it is late and the rest of Second Street has shut. The matcha series is identical to the other two addresses, so the Strawberry Matcha over smashed fruit and the Matcha Taro Cloud under taro foam are both here, and the taiyaki and the Strawberry Tornado are what people order at this one. What we like is the company it keeps: Tea Master Matcha Cafe & Green Tea Shop is further along Second Street and takes a ceremonial, purist line on matcha, and Okayama Kobo is a block up on First, so an afternoon can go from a stone-ground bowl to a cheese-foam boba without anybody moving a car. The board games and arcade cabinets the group keeps for the wait are here too.
