The Financial District Miss Cheese sits inside FIGat7th, the shopping center at Seventh and Figueroa, which makes it the easiest of the three to fold into a working day. Validated parking comes with the mall, and it opens at 11am daily, running to 9pm and an hour later on Fridays and Saturdays. The matcha series arrives here exactly as it does at the other two, so the Matcha Milk Tea, the Strawberry and Mango Matcha over smashed fruit and the Matcha Taro Cloud under taro foam are all on the board, along with taiyaki and the souffle pancakes. We would treat this one as the downtown lunch-break stop: Kumquat Coffee is a couple of blocks up Figueroa if the line is long, and Go Get Em Tiger is a walk east into Grand Central Market when there is more time in the day. Mall setting means mall hours, so this is the Miss Cheese for the middle of a weekday, and Little Tokyo is the one to remember after dark.
