Kumquat Coffee

The downtown Kumquat is on South Figueroa in the financial district, which gives it a different job from the Highland Park room. It keeps shorter hours built around the working day, closing in the early afternoon on weekdays and a little later at weekends, so this is a morning and lunchtime proposition. The multi-roaster shelf is the same idea, rotating through roasters and origins from around the world, and the matcha latte and the ceremonial grade version are both on. The kumquat tonic is here too. We use it as the downtown escape hatch, and the ceremonial matcha is what makes the afternoon survivable.
