The Scoop
The Melrose Avenue room is the compact Dayglow, sitting on the Larchmont edge of Hollywood where the blocks turn residential. Size is the only thing scaled down. The multi-roaster wall is here, the cream-top builds are here, and the matcha runs the strawberry version alongside the hot and iced lattes and the einspanner. A smaller room changes how it gets used. We treat it as the one you walk to, order at and carry out, instead of the one you settle into with a laptop. It is also the most central of the four, which makes it the default when the rest of the group is a drive away.
