Cha Cha Matcha

The Century City Cha Cha Matcha opened in spring 2022 on the first floor of Westfield Century City, the brand's third Los Angeles address and its first inside a mall. Pink and green in a shopping mall should feel wrong and somehow does not. The full menu made the move. Matcha lattes, nitro coffees, the juice-based elixirs and the matcha lemonade the brand is known for are all here, along with the ice cream, and the ceremonial grade still comes direct from Uji. Being in Westfield means mall hours and a steady stream of people between errands, so it runs calmer on a weekday morning than the street locations do. Cafe Knotted is in the same mall, which makes this one of the better accidental matcha pairings in the city, and we would do both.
