Blueys Kitchen

This is where Blueys started, on Berkeley Street in 2015, opening for breakfast and growing the community the owners say made everything after it possible. It stayed the only Blueys for seven years, until Mar Vista opened in 2022. The GF Matcha White Chocolate Scone belongs to this address alone, and it is what we would order beside the drink. Santa Monica pours its Matcha Tonic on the rocks only, built on Fever-Tree tonic water, fresh squeezed lime juice, simple syrup and an orange slice. The current board also carries the shared Matcha Americano and the Matcha Horchata Latte with its cinnamon top, all starting from unsweetened organic ceremonial grade matcha. Berkeley Street sits a few blocks off Olympic, quieter than the Santa Monica addresses closer to the water.
