Awakening opens at half five in the morning and closes at midnight, every single day, which makes it the most useful set of hours on this entire site. It sits on South La Brea in Inglewood doing specialty coffee and ceremonial matcha, with bagels and pastries at the counter. The matcha is premium ceremonial grade from Japan and the hojicha is premium organic from Shizuoka, delicately roasted, which is a level of specificity most cafes never publish.
